Aspect Medical Systems is committed to helping you meet the challenges of educating staff in a consistent manner through staff shortages and variability and limited time to learn. A simple, one-time registration process will give you access to HealthStream's online education and training programs and establish a database for you to access your own personal records of all educational activities you have completed.

About HealthStream's Accredited Programs

HealthStream’s nationally accredited complimentary educational programs are offered by accredited providers of continuing medical education by the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). These offerings will each provide one credit toward the American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award (AMA PRA). AMA PRA credit is the currency for CME and is recognized by all state licensure boards, specialty certification boards and for credentialing within individual healthcare organizations. AMA PRA credit can also be used by physicians’ assistants and advanced practice nurses to fulfill these same organizational requirements.

These self-paced learning courses offer convenient on-line post testing and immediate results. Upon successful completion, a certificate is provided to the participant. CME course certificates may be used to meet both individual re-licensure and JCAHO competency requirements. Your information with be shared with the appropriate accreditation organization.

• The monographs have been approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) for 1 CE credit per course; Code Number 29896; Expiration Date: 08/30/09.
• The courses have been approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) for 1 CE credit per course; Code Number: 30096; Expiration Date: 09/01/09.
• The American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) will accept HealthStream course credits towards their certification, as long as technicians provide the ASATT with proper documentation. (This documentation is provided by HealthStream directly to student. Contact ASATT directly with documentation to receive your credits.)
• The courses has been approved by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anesthetists (ANZCA) CPD program for 2 credits per hour per course; Category 2 Level 2; Approval Number 144.
• The courses have been approved by the Royal College of Anaesthetists for 1 CPD point per course with a total of 15 CPD points maximum for any individual course.
